Position: Healthcare Solution Architect

Location: Plano, TX / Washington, DC (Remote for now)

Duration: Long Term

 

Health care Solution Architect – FHIR / Interoperability 

Summary:

This is a pivotal role for the implementation of FHIR standards and individual serves as a trusted advisor for Customer stakeholders. You will be expected to bring in industry experience building HL7/FHIR integration solutions for Bulk data exchange, and well familiar with privacy & security rules for Interoperability.

Below are the key responsibilities

·         Create conceptual and detail architecture for APIs using FHIR resources

·         Design scalable FHIR integration solution

·         Communicate FHIR solutions and present effectively to business and IT stakeholders to gain consensus

·         Work closely with project teams to support HL7 interfaces implementation

·         Identify and report discrepancies between interface specifications and configurations

 

Required Skills:

·         10+ years of experience in enterprise IT, management or technology consulting, software development, or enterprise or solutions architecture

·         5+ years of related healthcare industry experience

·         Implementation experience of Health Level Seven (HL7), Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) standards

·         Excellent understanding in Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)

·         Experience with agile frameworks and transformation with deep knowledge of development tools and continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) processes

·         Experience participating Architecture team or large complex system integration and build projects

·         Demonstrated and sustained result-oriented performance

·         Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to converse with or present to C-level audience

·         Collaborative with good critical and design thinking skills

·         Ability to perform data-driven analysis

·         Adept at helping customers understand problems and designing innovative solutions

·         Practical experience with emerging technologies, including cloud, middleware, and infrastructure technologies

·         Deep customer experience serving as a senior business leader, IT leader, consultant, or strategic adviser

·         Ability to successfully operate within a highly matrixed and complex technical and business environment

·         Capable of managing a complex portfolio which contains multiple engagements and innovative initiatives

·         Knowledgeable of healthcare data, topologies, and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) systems

·         Expert knowledge of industry trends, leading change, and digital transformation

·         Industry recognized accreditations within Architecture (TOGAF 9.x) is a big plus
