Role: AbInitio Developer

Location: Plano, TX

Duration: Long Term Contract

 

Job Description:

• Minimum 8+ year of industry experience with following:
• 6+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience delivering large scale ETL projects using Ab Initio Continuous Flows, MDH, BRE and CO>Ops
• Thorough understanding in ETL Architecture and being able to provide designs and solutions independently in ETL
• Strong Data warehousing concepts with good analytic skills
• Working knowledge on PDL, Metadata programming & Plans
• Experience in Continuous Flow will be a huge plus Hands on Development with various Ab Initio Components Such as Rollup, Normalize, Scan, Join, Partition Components, Multi-file handling
• Good Hands on M Commands and AIR commands in Ab Initio
• Hands on knowledge on Meta data Hub and Data Profiling and cleansing
• Good hands on the Ctrl M scheduler and knowledge on Control Center is a plus
• Good Knowledge in Unix scripting and File Commands
• Experience in SQL query handling and worked on DB2 Database
• Work closely with SME and Business to understand the requirement and provide solutions
• Good at troubleshooting, recommending solutions and identifying opportunities to solve Business problems
• Need to be a good team player and proactive to provide suggestions and help the team as needed
• Knowledge of Health Care Domain will be a huge plus
• Good Exposure in Unix and shell Scripting

·        Ability lead and guide team of 5-7 members
