Job Description

The Fidelity Workplace Services Security Services group is looking for a motivated Systems Analyst. This Analyst will need to work independently to analyze, research, recommend and document technical design strategies and work with Environment groups to integrate and support changes from development to test to production environments. This group develops Authorization, B2B Security and Single Sign On infrastructure software components that are the backbone for many of Fidelity’s web business applications. 

Primary Responsibilities

Handle multiple client engagements; typically range from 2-4 at the same time.

Understand technical concepts and be able to communicate those to the clients and other stakeholders.

Collaborate closely with the customer on technology strategy, requirements, story writing, design, testing, and implementation to provide systems solutions and coordinate overall delivery of technology services.

Work directly with the client organizations to outline business processes, define complex systems requirements and design solutions for both medium and large projects.

Troubleshoot systems issues – should be technical enough to understand system interactions and troubleshoot issues by analyzing the logs, HTTP traces and databases

 Skills and Knowledge

Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to understand technical concepts and be able to succinctly convey to partners

Self-starter with ability to get up-to-speed on web protocols/concepts (HTTP, XML, cookies) and security concepts (SAML, Authorization/RBAC etc.)

Medium-scale full project life cycle experience across multiple platforms and technologies

Excellent written and oral communication skills, both with customers, technical team members, and other technical contributors across the organization
