Role: ANGULAR DEVELOPER
Location: Remote with potential for occasional meetings in Baltimore, MD
Duration: 6+ month contract
Duties/Responsibilities: Seeking a skilled Angular software developer who will be responsible for building PMM application functionality with AngularJS based on business requirements. The Enterprise Angular Developer’s responsibilities will include:
• Design and develop user interfaces using AngularJS best practices
• Develop in Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud application environment and technology stack
• Adapt interface for modern internet applications using the latest front-end technologies
• Write JavaScript, CSS, and HTML code to support application needs based on business needs and requirements
• Make complex technical and design decisions for AngularJS projects
• Develop application codes and unit tests in AngularJS, Java Technologies, and Rest Web Services
● Ensure high performance of the PMM application and provide support to address performance and stress testing issues
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to identify and resolve defects
• Collaborate with data, Angular and Application Integration Architects, project managers, and business analysts in meeting business requirements
• Follow automated continuous delivery and deployment practices
• Adhere to application architecture design guidelines, patterns and standards
Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar General Experience: • At least two (2) years of experience in at least two of the following disciplines: systems analysis, systems programming, application programming, and equipment analysis.
ANGULAR DEVELOPER
• At least one (1) year of experience developing applications using advanced technologies, such as Internet protocols or web-based technology. Technologies include HTML, CGI applications, PERL or Javascript, and Java. Specialized Experience:
• At least two (2) years of Angular system/application programming experience as an AngularJS developer
• Experience working in AWS or a cloud computing environment
• Proficient in CSS, HTML, and writing cross-browser compatible code
• Experience using JavaScript building tools
• Knowledge of JavaScript MV-VM/MVC frameworks
• Proven experience implementing front-end and back-end JavaScript applications
• Experience in building distributed multi-tier applications
• Experience in continuous integration (CI) and automated deployment on AWS cloud platforms
• Understanding of full-stack development
• Experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies
