Responsibilities:
Goal of ESL Team: ~To deliver value for the sales by developing and supporting business applications within a shared service model.
To decouple business logic and data from being baked into applications while modernizing the technology utilized into a catalog of API's that are reusable and salable across the organization.
Helping launching the Expressway 2.0 (ecommerce site) and integrating internal & external partners.
The team utilizes multiple technologies including front end, API, and DB2 to build solutions for internal sales and external customers.
The team works in a fast paced, agile environment and includes a product owner for prioritization of a roadmap and backlog.
Job Description/Overview:
Senior Software Engineer on ESL (Enterprise Service Layer) Team - AKS practical experience required.
Job Qualifications: ~ Technical Skills – Must Have
High-level SSE .NET/C#, open to full stack with a heavier focus on back-end
Azure Kubernetes Cluster – must have professional, practical experience with AKS (not only mere exposure)
Developing REST APIs (web services) – preferably through Visual Studio
First-hand experience with architecture, design principles, testing, deployment, and branching strategy
Additional Skills/Requirements – Must Have
Comfortable with Agile development environments & JIRA (or similar) o Willing to train, mentor, and knowledge share with team & junior developers
Demonstrate clear communication skills and willingness to collaborate
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
Occasional day or overnight travel required to St. Louis and/or Mt. Sterling offices (quarterly) ð Technical Skills -
