Description:
Experience in Commvault v10 & v11
 Configure the backup-archive client.
 Backup, restore, archive, and retrieve client data.
 Experience with DASH copy.
 Understanding of License Management.
 Creation of Storage Policies schedules and reports.
 Experience on setting up Deduplication and DDB troubleshooting.
 Understanding of Backup SLA management.
 Well versed with Backup and restore of physical servers, VMs and database
 Providing support to the backup infrastructure, daily backups, data
recovery, and all
associated reporting.
 Install configure, and maintain Backup and Recovery Systems based on
CommVault.
 Experience in Version and service pack upgrade.
 Understand general disaster recovery and business continuity practices.
 Resolution of Backup environment related issues, especially the escalated
problems-
within service target
 Hardware /software fault detection and vendor liaison.
 Perform regular health checks and performance audits in order to
proactively isolate
and resolve potential issues
 Also be involved in and responsible for the operational support for
Incident
Management + Change Management (Planning & Execution)
 On - call Escalation
 Maintaining Ticket Quality
 Process adherence & Security compliance
 Root cause analysis / Problem Management + Capacity / Architectural
Management
 SLA compliance for tickets
Good to have skills:
 Datto & Druva technology exposure will be a plus
 KB preparation and review, Knowledge sharing & documentation
 Familiar with IntelliSnap protect Backup, transport modes and data
forecasting
 Experience in VMWare, SQL, ORACLE, Exchange backup & Recovery.
