Role: PHP Lead SDE
Location:- Remote
Long Term
Mandatory Skills:- Magento or Symphony
JD;- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 5 years of work experience in software engineering/development.
Primary responsibilities:
1. Translate user stories and functional requirements into resilient & secure technical designs.
2. Design, build and maintain high-quality technology solutions that deliver an exceptional customer experience.
3. Ensure application SLAs are met by employing appropriate monitoring and alerting tools as required by each supported application.
4. Work with development leads to assist in developing overall application technology design activities; assist with the identification and definition of key architectures, components and interfaces, design of data model and data/information flows.
5. Work with Product Owners to help prioritize development activities and estimate level of effort.
6. Focus on professional development through our wide array of learning opportunities for continued growth within the Office Depot team.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or eq
Technical Competencies:
· PHP, Symfony and/or Magento
· Composer
· Git
· Ability to create unit tests, performance and integration tests (PHPUnit, jMeter/k6 & Postman/Newman)
· Kubernetes and/or Docker
· NoSQL DB (e.g. MongoDB)
· RDMS (e.g. MYSQL)
· RESTful APIs
· Linux/Unix basics
· Familiarity with any of the following is a plus: Shell scripting, GO/Gin, Phinx Migrations, Grunt, ReactJS, jQuery, Apache
