If you don’t know her, Fei Fei Li is a good person to learn a brief history of AI and her current research and development focus. 

Maybe this video can help assuage our fear of the unknown?

Coming at the heels of LLMs may be products and applications based on computer vision, spatial intelligence models.

You maybe curious of what she says about AGI. 

Policy and governance of this civilizational technology will unlikely come from DC, Brussel or Beijing. She touches on this near the end.

PS: by the way, training on big data is the rote learning part of AI I was talking about. I didn’t have a chance to follow up on this comment.
