Nishonoseki beya problem

The Kyokai  announced on the 30th that a tokoyama belonging to Nishonoseki beya had been involved in financial trouble and had retired on the 29th. The Compliance Committee will conduct an investigation, and will refrain from making any announcement in order to protect the victim's privacy. The tokoyama, the perpetrator, retired due to the trouble. His master, Nishonoseki Oyakata was severely reprimanded by Chairman Hakkaku for inadequate supervision. The Kyokai stated, "The Kyokai intends to continue to pay close attention to the lifestyle guidance of rikishi and other Kyokai members at Nishonoseki beya, including past drinking issues within the heya."
