The Fuyu (winter ) jungyo will kick off on December 3rd in Yatsushiro-shi. Missing it from Makuuchi are Terunofuji, Takanoshou, Kotoekou and Tsurugishou. From Juryo, we have 7 kyujo: Aoiyama, Kotoshouhou, Shimazuumi, Chiyomaru, Takakentou, Asakouryuu and Chiyosakae.

The Hatsu 2024 YDC soken (training session) will be held at the Kokugikan training institute on January 9th, 2024. This means it will not be open to the public.
