How is injured ex-Juryo Kiryuukou doing? Former Juryo and current Makushita 46 and destined for Sandanme Kiryuukou (son of ex- Tokitsukaze Oyakata the parking permit offender) underwent a medical checkup at the Kokugikan yesterday. There's no point in rushing and I want to get better." His return could be as early as the Kyushu basho in November or the Hatsu basho in January next year. He said he's been watching live broadcasts of sumo during his absence, saying, "When I see everyone wrestling in honbasho, it makes me want to get back as soon as possible."
