Kirishima meets a celeb

Ozeki Kirishima, who will be on a tsunatori run in Nagoya , has resumed training at Otowayama beya in Sumida Ward, Tokyo. He worked out doing the basics such as teppo and push-ups, wiping away sweat with satisfaction and saying, "I want to work hard together with everyone." After Natsu, he met former French national football team striker Karim Benzema who was visiting Japan, through an acquaintance. He said they even took a photo together, and he seemed thrilled, saying, "Benzema is very interested in sumo. I'm grateful. I hope sumo becomes more and more popular."
