The Jungyo arrived at  Kasama City, Ibaraki Prefecture today. Makuuchi newcomer Fujiryouga had his first keiko session with Yokozuna Houshouryuu. After facing Ura, Houshouryuu chose Fujiryouga to practice with him. In the first bout, he was pushed out, and then thrown with an underarm throw. In the last bout, he was lifted up by the Yokozuna's massive body and slammed to the ground. "I think this is the first time in my life I've been lifted up like this. I weigh 180 kg, so I shouldn't be lifted up so easily. I was really surprised," he said, looking surprised. On the other hand, he expressed his gratitude for being chosen by the Yokozuna, saying, "Watching him practice up close was scary, but he's also really cool. He's at the very top of the sumo world. It was a very significant experience."
