It's a voicemail recording and leaves both reissues and touring as possible outcomes of this mystery - though the "no bad blood" maybe indicates shows.

Also, it appears an announcement is coming tomorrow.

Do we think full tour or only a handful of dates?  What size venues?

I’d imagine if it was a small handful of shows, they wouldn’t be teasing as much.

Someone replied to a post of mine with a pick of Bob, Dave and Malcolm supposedly taken during the recording of a new album in July. It could be taken in a studio.

Someone has queried its source but no reply.

Even with my daughter in London, I can't swing that trip. NYC flights and (esp.) lodging make this inadvisable at best. Hoping things expand...

I'm totally into the single. One of my favorite things Bob's recorded since I Don't Know You Anymore/The War. I'm going to try to get tickets to both nights at Webster Hall. I find it hard to believe they recorded a single (or more) and are only playing four shows, but I don't want to miss out if that's it. Now that it's a two night I'm back to hoping for Copper Blue + Beaster one night, FUEL + B-sides on night two.

I think there's practically  zero chance that it will be one single and 4 dates. Suspect the shows will sell-out in minutes and we'll find out at some point that there's more dates planned later on.

The reality is that tours are not easy these days, they are expensive, etc. if the first few dates sellout quickly, the band can negotiate better terms for a full tour.

The Rolling Stone interview suggests there are no more shows booked nor recorded music in the can… but that they’re open to the possibilities.

This is just insane to me but I am here for it.  The importance of this band to me cannot be understated

I thought Bob played and sounded exceptionally great during the band tour this year and sounded amazing again during the solo shows.  I did think it was odd he wasn't previewing new songs on the solo tour, as he often does. I wondered to myself where he was going next.  Looking back, his decision to focus on the Jason & Jon material makes even more sense now.  He knew he was firing up this rocket ship.  I do hope that is not the last we've heard of his band with Jon & Jason because they are excellent in their own right.

I doubt we are going to get the full Beaster suite as Bob has remarked a decade ago how difficult JC Auto would be for him then.  But Come Around --> Tilted?  I bet that's a possibility.  The Act We Act.  Helpless.  Changes.  Gift.  Gee Angel.  Explode and Make Up.  After All the Roads Have Led to Nowhere.  (OK that's my own personal deep cut.) I could go on and on.  So much great stuff we get to hear again.

Shocked and so excited.

And all my family has moved out of NY. I'm going to have to call in a favor. That's even assuming I can get a ticket. Webster is relatively tiny. They should be somewhere twice as big like Terminal 5.

No one should ever play Terminal 5, the worst venue in NYC. 😉
Shocked this is happening, thrilled and hopeful to get tix for this show.
Brooklyn Paramount is a great larger room.

We love Bob / Sugar in London but I don't think demand will be that high.

Likely to sell out for sure but it will be a few hours / days rather than minutes I suspect?

The UK gig going public has bankrupt itself on Oasis tickets! 😄

I can't say I like Terminal 5 or DC's similarly sized cousin The Anthem, but demand is what it is. I'd rather go than not go and you can't go if you can't get a ticket.

No idea which way that will go. Still not figured out way Noel and Liam solo shows rarely sold out but the reunion skyrocketed? 1995 effect???

A lot of reformed bands seem to play bigger shows in their second lives from the get-go - Pixies are a good example of that.

Can only assume that by restricting the number of shows to four they’re making sure they sell out quickly.

London  is going to be a focus for fans not just from the UK but also Europe. I’m hoping that it will be ok to get tickets as Al is suggesting but I don’t intend to take any chances!
