Miracle Year CD order from Amazon unfulfilled?

Hi all,

I preordered the Miracle Year CDs from Amazon (directly from Amazon, not a 3rd party seller) back in October, and it hasn't shipped yet... in fact, Amazon is now showing the CD is "currently unavailable", and the estimated arrival date is December 8! Did anyone else order and receive the CDs from Amazon?

I'm thinking of contacting Numero to ask if Amazon will be restocked, but I'm guessing I'll just have to order from Numero directly and cancel the Amazon order.

I ordered the t-shirt and vinyl bundle direct from Numero and I haven't gotten anything yet myself.  Grrrr.  Also ordered the digital download and haven't received that either.

I ordered the vinyl from Numero and received it on Saturday. 

Haven't delved into everything yet but one thought - Misty Modern Days really comes out of left field, sounds unlike anything else in the Husker catalog.

I pre-ordered the CD from Amazon Canada in Octomber, and right now the status says "Currently unavailable. We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock."

I ordered the CD version via Bandcamp. Last Friday I got the 24/48 files, and the 2CD set is currently in... Pontiac, MI, according to USPS. Scheduled to arrive on Saturday 15th. Nice people.

If you are waiting on your order you might be interested in this email I just got from Numero:

If you are receiving this email, it's because we owe you a package. This last few months has been a massive technological clusterfuck at ye olde Numero HQ. I'll spare the details but we basically had to completely re-engineer our entire business - from designing new website from scratch to moving our entire stock to new shipping warehouses in the US and UK. 

 

We've been working through the hiccups for the past month or so - mostly finding orders that never pushed to the warehouse, finding inventory issues where the warehouse didn't update our website stock quantities and even solving a "DNS" issue that may have prevented a good chunk of our customer service emails from ever hitting your inbox. 

 

All that to say - We sometimes suck, and we're always sorry. Most of the issues have been fixed and we have all hands on deck ripping reply emails and seeing what we can pack up but we're still a couple a weeks away from getting the complete backlog tackled. 

I just ordered mine the other day but for those of you who ordered a while back, this might be why you haven’t received the set yet. FWIW, my package tracking says the label has been created but the package hasn’t yet hit the Postal Service.

Just this morning I emailed Numero directly (for the 2nd time) and got a response pretty quickly.  My order is now shipped and I just got the download links.
