A quick introduction on my first post. Been a long time fan. My first real "Rock" concert was Sugar on the Beaster tour at First Avenue in Minneapolis when I was in High School. I saw Bob perform many more times over the years.. I just bought tickets for the 9/10/26 show. Over the years I have been looking for high quality solo acoustic live shows from the mid to late 90's. Not trying to be picky, but quality soundboard shows would be great.  I found some type of scam site that is trying to sell live bootlegs but did not want to support anything like that. The samples I did listen to were helpful though. It sounds like the show from 11/9/93 Chicago is a very good, clean recording. If anyone has that or any other full acoustic shows from that time frame I would appreciate it.

I don't want to be the "new" guy who shows up and asks for favors without offering something. Probably not too rare, but I just uploaded The Calm Before The Storm and a high quality MN Public Radio interview with 3 songs from 2005 in the Google folder below.

I also just learned about Dime for the first time tonight. I have signed up and am waiting to be approved as a Super user. I found some old links here with many 90's shows but it looks like they are all outdated links.. Have not really used torrent site before but I think I should be OK to figure out if that route works better. Listened to Workbook start to finish today, definitely in my top 5 albums of all time.

Not sure if there is any security concerns but for now I will leave my folder open to all and that should allow anyone to upload to my folder as well..trying to make it as easy as possible if anybody has something to share:)

Hi, Nels, and welcome. While there are a lot of shows that circulate, both generally and from that era, there aren't a lot of soundboard recordings due to Bob's taping policy at the time. I uploaded that 11/9/93 show and FM-sourced performance/interview from '94 in your folder. I think that your best bet is to just identify other specific shows you might want. If they circulate, someone on this list has them and can upload.

I had forgotten Andrew. I remember seeing a show with him on bass. Thanks!

Andrew’s been the full time bass player in Son Volt for maybe the last 8 years or more
