Dear Mr Ranjan Dasgupta,
Apologies for delay in response to your mail at which I was aghast.
Firstly, I would request you to be a more active part of the affairs of the Society, understand how it works, what are the compulsions, what are the limitations and stop finding negative in every matter.
I appreciate your concern about the Civil Repairing of Building works (Block-A & Block-B) actually started on 15th December 2021 after initial mobilization period. But the way you delivered need to be more positive and cooperative.
I think it is now known to all resident of Sugam Sabuj that a technical committee has been formed to take care of all technical activities of our complex. The technical committee are all very qualified and well experienced person. For e,g. Rtd. ED(P) SAIL, Rtd. Electrical Engineer of IOCL, Head of Engineers India Limited of Regional Office , Kolkata, retired experience Resident Construction Manager of Mega project, experience Finance person, Doctor, Software engineers & Advice of rtd. CA of SAIL( our treasurer). We are very fortunate that we got such a good team.
The Civil Repairing Tender have been satisfactorily prepared by our technical committee through lot of interaction meeting recorded as MOM and was presented through our recent Spl. General Body meeting also, where you have also participated.
Coming to the mail :
1. I never said that things are not moving as per plan, The Technical committee in charge of this is well aware of this. we are well within the timelines.
2. I have not mentioned that I am overburdened. Most residents in SS work hand in hand everyday to improve quality of life here. People living here can vouche for that. Many people take additional responsibility beyond their scope of work to make it happen.
3. I am not sure how you concluded about my overburden and that it would result in cost and time overrun. I am not a sole man handling this. You have neither gone through the process document for the job NOR are you aware that we have a team of competent and experienced people handling the entire project.
4. Coming to the point of execution of this project where minimum birth time is required to built-up the coordination between Contractor and Owner. At this juncture you have shown your serious concern in a negative manner. I am always been a Gap filler whatever may be the load, because I am a Project Engineer and accustoms with this kind situation every day in my official project in a cool manner.
The AGM has authorized the Technical Committee in this matter and they are well on track in doing this. Our successful contractor also have huge experience in similar type of work.
This kind of mail may mislead to other resident those are living outside Bengal.
May I request you to come to the society, have a look at the process document thoroughly and then comment how you can contribute positively instead of commenting on mails and calling a meeting without understanding the whole perspective and plans.
Hope you will take this mail in the right spirit.
Stay safe and healthy.
Best Regards,
Goutam Ghosh
