Hello all,

I installed the latest version (5.0.1) of the SubSurface app. My goal is to find an alternative for the Suunto DM5 app for Windows 64bit.

The main reason I am looking for an alternative is that neither the Suunto mobile app nor the Windows app (DM5) are downloading my last dive. They would download all my dives except the last one. That is why I decided to give Subsurface a try.

But when I try it there I am just getting an error. I go to Import from dive computer -> Vendor: Suunto; Dive computer EON Core; Device mount point: disabled; Save libdivecomputer logfile checked. Getting an error. Please find the generated log file attached to this message.

My question is twofold:
1. Did anyone experience the similar issue when downloading dives from EON Core, where it doesn't download the most recent dive?
2. What can I do to fix the error and get the data into Subsurface?

If you need more info please let me know.

Best,
Igor

If the manufacturers own software is failing to download the dive there may well be something wrong with that dive stored on the computer (or the computer or cable etc.).

So, my fiancee dives an eon core. Up until a month ago she was on Win 10/64 and now she is on Mac. We've never seen that behavior. Neither with DM5 or Subsurface.

Personally i would reset the device to factory default and try again.
