hi alextek

I had some issues too, but now it works like charm - I hope I can solve your problems.

at first make yourself comfortable in front of your PC and make shure, your DC (divecomputer) is at hand. now turn on your DC (push those shiny buttons) and if the system is ok look at the software-version you have. it has to be 3.3 (or higher, but at the moment 3.3 is the latest). if the version is lower, pleas visit divecomputer.eu and make the updates (bootloader 3.0 and so on) to get version 3.3 running on your DC.
if you have already 3.3 -> great!!

your PC is running i think (you are reading this lines - it must be running) and enable bluetooth. surprise - nothing happens. so back to the DC.
navigate on the DC to "logbook" - select a dive ( it does not matter which dive you select) and activate "UPLOAD" -> wait until the DC shows "WAITING".

now back to the pc.
now the PC is able to show the DC in the bluetooth-network - just klick "PAIR" to pair the DC with your PC (has to be done only once). if that is done, start subsurface

i hope subsurface is running now. DO NOT USE THE MENUE "FILE ->CONFIGURE DIVECOMPUTER!!! this would cause an error-message and subsurface could go to a - lets call it "instabile" - state.

go to "IMPORT -> IMPORT FROM DC". in the following dialog chose "VENDOR: Tecdiving" -> "MODEL:DiveComputer.eu". activate the last field "choose Bluetooth-mode".......

all clear right now? - ok - let's go on.......

BEVOR you klick "OK" look at your DC - i bet, it turned from "WAITING" to "UPLOAD" again - no prob - just turn on "UPLOAD" again, wait untill the DC shows "WAITING" again. now klick "OK" and the bluetooth-dialog opens. klick on "SEARCH" and after a few seconds your DC will be shown. klick on it and klick on "SAVE".

the bluetooth-dialog closes and the import-dialog shows a green loading-bar at the left lower side - just wait a little and in the right field of the import-dialog the importable dives are shown. select or disselect your dives and klick "OK".

IMPORTANT!!!!!!
now got to "FILE ->SAVE"!!!! - stand up and pour yourself a drink - your done!

i hope, you are able to understand my wrinings - english is not my first langunage - and if you find any misspelling - keep them - you found them, you own them! 😊

hope to helped you a little bit and the connection is working now

hi alessio

i hope that i find the time this weekend to make a tiny manual with screenshots. in the meantime you can check your windows defender/firewall settings - maybe there is the prob.
in the bluetooth network you find the DC?
nice day
