Seit einigen Versionen lassen sich keine Tauchgänge mehr ab dem Uemis importieren. Der Importvorgang dauert extrem lange und ergibt schlussendlich die Meldung, dass keine Tauchgänge mehr vorhanden sind, obwohl mehr als 200 Tauchgänge fehlen. Auch ein erneuter Import hat nichts gebracht. Kennt jemand das Problem?

Bitte schalte mal im Downloaddialog "libdivecomputer Logfile" an und poste das entsprechende File. Daran sollte besser zu erkennen sein, was schief läuft.

PS: Translation: Since a few version back, download from Uemils fails. Import takes very long and then ends with the message that there are no remaining dives even though there should be more than 200. Reimport does not change anything.

Hi Robert. Danke für dein Feedback. Leider schreibt es keine Datei. Habe dies nun mit mehreren Speicherorten und Versuchen getestet. Eine Datei erscheint leider nicht.

Der Uemis Downloader ist leider der einzige, der diese Option nicht
unterstuetzt.

Import vom Uemis dauert immer laecherlich lange was an der hirnverbrannten
Architektur des Downloadvorgangs liegt.

Was zeigt denn Subsurface so an waehrend des versuchten Downloads? Was ist
auf dem Uemis zu sehen? Es kommt recht oft vor, dass der Uemis selbst
einfach nur haengt und einen harten Reset braucht, aber ich habe immer
noch nicht herausgefunden, wie man das macht... nach einiger Zeit warten
(Uemis ausstecken und ausschalten) geht es dann ploetzlich wieder.

Wenn man den Import Vorgang startet, dann sollte der Uemis auf einen
anderen Bildschirm schalten, der anzeigt, dass er versucht, Daten zu
uebertragen. Und Subsurface sollte im Download Fenstern anzeigen, was es
gerade macht.

Diese Informationen sollten uns helfen zu verstehen, was schief geht.

Robert suggested the libdivecomputer log but that doesn't work because the
Uemis isn't supported through libdivecomputer but through our own
downloader. My comment was that it's normal that it takes forever to try
to download things and I'm asking for more information on what exactly is
shown on the screen of the Uemis and in the informational part of our
dialog box

Der Uemis zeigt den „Sync Screen“ an, welcher er auch beim Synchronisieren mit dem 
myuemis Portal zeigt. Bisher hat alles immer wie auch jetzt ausgesehen… 

Subsurface zeigt das Importfenster mit einem wandernden Balken. Das dauert nun einige Zeit 
und irgendwann kommt die Meldung, dass keine Tauchgänge vorhanden sind.

Dies passiert auch, wenn der Mac und der Uemis frisch gestartet sind.
Nach der Fehlermeldung zeigt der Uemis den normalen Homescreen an.
Beiliegend einige Screens.

Ah ja, ein Mac. Da sieht man natürlich nix. Denn Apple weiss besser als
wir, was wir unseren Benutzern zeigen wollen. Auf allen anderen Plattformen
kriegt man Informationen was denn gerade gelesen wird. Aber nicht auf 
einem Mac.

Ich versuche, eine Version mit Debug Informationen auf stdout für Dich zu
bauen. Heute ist ein bisschen schlecht (Geburtstagsfeier meiner Zwillinge),
aber ich hoffe, ich kriege das bald gebacken und dann können wir mehr
testen.

Das ging ja superschnell. Leider noch ohne Verbesserung. Subsurface meldet immer noch, das keine Tauchgänge verfügbar sind. Eine Info, was er gerade macht, sehe ich leider nicht. Wo sollte dies ersichtlich sein? Danke für die Infos.

Starte einen Terminal und dort rufst Du

/Applications/Subsurface.app/Contents/MacOS/Subsurface

auf. Wenn ich Dirk richtig verstanden habe, sollten da dann Diagnostikmeldungen auflaufen, die Du hier reinkopieren kannst.

Na das sieht doch so aus, als würde er die Tauchgänge 98-102 erfolgreich laden.
Die Frage ist dann also, was sagt er, wenn er fertig ist? Siehst Du im Download Dialog die fünf Tauchgänge?
Oder kommt nur ein Fehler? Was mich ein bisschen wundert, ist dass wir "Details für # 101" nur einmal sehen und dann keine Suche nach Details für # 102... und das scheint dann ja auch das Ende zu sein.

nein. er zeigt die tauchgänge im fenster nicht an. interessant ist, dass die tauchgänge 48 - 140 bereits importiert und in der liste sind.

Das ist in der Tat interessant, denn er sagt uns ganz eindeutig, dass der neuste Tauchgang von diesem Uemis die Nummer 96 hat (drum lädt er ab 97).

OK, hier ist mal eine Idee. Könntest Du mir folgendes schicken:

1) Deine existierende XML Datei (gerne direkt in email, kein Grund, die auf Google zu veröffentlichen)
2) ein tar File des UEMISSDA Dateisystems und zwar auf folgende Weise:

- Uemis einstecken
- Download mit Subsurface starten und warten, bis er Dir sagt, dass ein Fehler aufgetreten ist
- jetzt Uemis NICHT ausstecken, sondern folgendes in einem Terminal Fenster:

tar czf uemis.tgz /Volumes/UEMISSDA

schick mir die uemis.tgz Datei.

Das sollte mir zeigen, warum er glaubt, nur die ersten 96 Tauchgänge zu haben. Und hoffentlich zeigt es mir auch, warum er nach Nummer 101 aufgibt.

Hallo zusammen,

ich habe mir einen gebrauchen Uemis Zürich SDA gekauft und als erstes die Benutzerwechsel-Funktion zur Löschung aller Bestandsdaten genutzt. Bei der ersten Synchronisierung hatte ich dann die gleichen Probleme wie Manuel (allerdings mit Subsurface 4.7.5).
Dann habe ich eine Entdeckung gemacht, die ich euch anhand der Ausgabe von 'subsurface -v' zeigen kann:

Die letzte Meldung "Details für # 0" wird solange wiederholt bis der SDA hängen bleibt. Das dauert einige Minuten. Danach erscheint die Fehlermeldung "keine Tauchgänge". Wenn ich allerdings vorher manuell abbreche, dann bekomme ich die TG # 261 - 267 korrekt angezeigt und importiert. Anscheinend scheitert die Synchronisation am Versuch den bereits gelöschten Tauchgang #0 abzurufen.

Wir haben den Uemis so gut wie aufgegeben. Das Logbuchformat ist umdokumentiert und wir finden immer wieder neue Variationen und Probleme.
Ich kann mal schauen, ob ich eine Idee habe, was da passiert, aber ich verspreche nix.

Wenn es ok ist kann ich es auch selbst debuggen. Ich habe etwas Erfahrung mit Qt Programmierung. Es würde mich freuen, wenn ich etwas zum Projekt beitragen kann.

Wir freuen uns über jede Hilfe.
Der Uemis code hat nichts mit Qt zu tun. Das ist in C geschrieben (und schrecklicher Spagetti-Code, den hauptsächlich ich verbrochen habe).

Der Code in uemis_get_answer() in core/uemis-downloader.c schreibt die Nachrichten, die Du siehst. Das ganze wird in get_matching_dive() aufgerufen, wo wir versuchen, die zweite Hälfte der Daten zu den Tauchgängen zu finden (das Design des Uemis SDA Downloads ist absolut hirnverbrannt).

Wenn Du Subsurface selber kompilierst kannst Du UEMIS_DEBUG als Bitmaske sitzen und viel mehr Debug Informationen bekommen.
Meine Vermutung ist, dass der Algorithmus, der versucht die richtigen Daten zu finden, hier völlig verwirrt ist. Wir bleiben in der while (!found) Schleife hängen, bis kein Speicher mehr vorhanden ist.

Ich helfe gerne, das weiter zu untersuchen.

Hallo Dirk,

die gültigen Dive-IDs werden in der Funktion "do_uemis_import" korrekt ermittelt. Das Problem liegt bei der globalen Variable "dive_to_read", die immer beim Wert "0" anfängt und in "get_matching_dive" verwendet wird.

Wenn man nun die Zeile
snprintf(dive_to_read_buf, sizeof(dive_to_read_buf), "%d", dive_to_read);
in
snprintf(dive_to_read_buf, sizeof(dive_to_read_buf), "%d", dive->dc.diveid);
abändert, so stimmt der Startwert. Leider funktioniert es dann trotzdem nicht. "logfilenr" ist immer "0" und es gibt keine sinnvollen Daten in der Antwort des Uemis:

Wie du richtigerweise vermutet hast, hängt Subsurface in der "while(!found)"-Schleife fest.
Ich verstehe nicht wieso "dive_to_read" in jeder Iteration verändert wird. Kommen wir hier mit "logfilenr" und "diveid" durcheinander?

BTW: Die Kommunikation ist echt hirnverbrannt ;-) Als wäre es absichtlich möglichst obskur gemacht worden.

Hallo Dirk,

ich habe das Problem gelöst. Meinem Uemis schmeckt es nicht wenn "dive_to_read == 0" ist, während Werte >0 ok sind. Außerdem scheinen ein paar zusätzliche "{"-Separatorzeichen die Kommunikation zuverlässiger zu machen - manchmal startet sich der Uemis während der Synchronisation ohne ersichtlichen Grund neu. Das Verhalten ist nicht gezielt reproduzierbar. Mit den zusätzlichen Zeichen scheint es zumindest besser zu sein.
Das Java-Applet des Uemis schreibt bei der Synchronisierung ebenfalls sehr lange Anfragen wie diese:

Also, ich habe die Zeile 1166 in uemis-downloader.c wie folgt abgewandelt:

snprintf(dive_to_read_buf, sizeof(dive_to_read_buf), "%d{{{", dive_to_read+1);

Mit dieser minimalistischen Änderung läuft die Synchronisierung fehlerfrei durch und alle Details sind im Log vorhanden.

Wie geht es nun weiter? Gibst du mir push-Recht auf Github oder bringst du die Änderung erst einmal selbst ein?

Wie bereits gesagt bin ich gerne bereit das Projekt zu unterstützen. Nicht nur - aber auch - bei Uemis-Problemen.

Hallo Dirk,

zusätzlich zur Korrektur des Problems mit der dive_id habe ich nun auch eine kleine Optimierung implementiert: Wenn mehrere Tauchgänge am selben Tauchplatz durchgeführt wurden werden die Details zum Tauchplatz jetzt nur noch einmal vom Uemis heruntergeladen. Zuvor wurden die Tauchplatzdetails zu jedem Eintrag erneut abgefragt.
Die Optimierung ist in get_uemis_divespot - der Code ist im Anhang.

Super - wie möchtest Du mit Deinen Patchen  vorgehen. Normalerweise machen wir das über "Pull Requests" auf GitHub. Das wäre am einfachsten für uns.
Wenn Du lieber Patche schicken möchtest, dann kriegen wir das natürlich auch hin. Einfach ein verändertes Source file zu schicken ist etwas schwieriger für uns. Hast Du Dir https://github.com/Subsurface-divelog/subsurface/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md angeschaut? Da sind die beiden Wege beschrieben und da wird auch erklärt, dass wir für alle Patches um ein Developer Certificate of Origin bitten (also eine Signed-off-by: Zeile im Commit-Log).

Ich erkläre da gerne mehr dazu.

Der Uemis wird schon seit langem nicht mehr aktiv unterstützt, da keiner der Entwickler mehr Zugriff auf einen funktionierenden SDA hat - also kann niemand mehr testen.
