I've updated the firmware of my Shearwater peregrine TX  and I can't download logs since the update. I get an input/output error on both the mobile and PC version. I've tried force download all dives but this does not seem to help

Hi Joris.

Try updating Subsurface to the latest version (6.0.5404 or newer).

I just upgraded to the latest version it still gives the same error. I was already running the latest version on mobile.

Everything was working fine 2 weeks ago, the only thing that changed since is a firmware update on the computer and I deleted one log on the computer.

Apologies, you'll need 6.0.5414 (or newer) from
https://subsurface-divelog.org/latest-release/

I have the same issue. Peregrine TX at firmware 100. Subsurface-mobile at 6.0.5365. iPhone 15Pro on iOS 18.5. App store does not see an upgrade, still lists 6.0.5365 as the latest version.

Yes, there is only a 'current', but no 'latest' version for iOS, as
Apple does not allow 'sideloading' of applications outside of the store.

You will have to wait for a few weeks until we publish the next
'current' version of Subsurface.

6.0.5414 works fine for me on Mac with my Perdix 2 on firmware version 100, but I have to download on the Mac as the iOS version doesn't yet support version 100.

I just did some further checking, on IOS it looks like it makes an initial connection but then simply says "no new dives", when I then try to reconnect I get an I/O error.
On the peregrine it shows "wait command" so it looks like there was at least some communication between subsurface and the peregrine.
Shutting down bluetooth and re-enabling it on the peregrine seems to re initiate the connection, but the "no new dives" issue remains. I've tried "force download all dives" but this gives the same message "no new dives"

As stated in
https://groups.google.com/g/subsurface-divelog/c/aoH_XbHNhxs/m/8CcUWqoXBgAJ,
you'll have to wait for 6.0.5414 (or newer) to become available on iOS,
which will be in a few weeks.

I have same problem after updating my Shearwater Peregrine TX firmware to version 100/BT12.  IoS version 6.0.5414, MacOS version 6.0.5404-CICD-Release.  On my Mac, I get the error: "Dive Data Import Error".  From my iPhone 16 Pro, I get the error: "Info: Import error: Input/output error?

After reading the previous conversations, I don't see a remedy.

Thanks,

6.0.5414 works for me on both my Mac and my iPhone. I had to get the iOS app from TestFlight but the Mac version was working fine before I got the iOS app from TestFlight.

Oh I just checked, 6.0.5414 is now in the App Store so you don’t need TestFlight

Hoping subsurface technicians can help me out.  Watch uploads fine to the Shearwater app, but errors trying to upload to subsurface

I am still unable to upload my dives to either my iPhone or MacBook Pro.  Peregrine TX firmware 100/BT12, MacOS subsurface version 6.0.5404-CICD-Release, iPhone 16 Pro subsurface version 6.0.5414.  Since I updated the firmware on my DC, I have not been able to upload the dives to subsurface on either iPhone or MacBook.  Would someone please help me troubleshoot?  MacBook does recognize my DC when I scan, but I get a dive data Import Error.

Same issue here with my Perdix AI that uses firmware 100. I tried both on Android using Subsurface 6.0.5404. As described in https://groups.google.com/g/subsurface-divelog/c/aoH_XbHNhxs/m/vgw3SRxJBwAJ I do see the "wait" text on my computer for a brief moment before the BT scanning on the computer stops and the app tells me that no new dives were loaded. It was working fine before I upgraded the computer to firmware 100 yesterday. Perhaps something changed in the db scheme?

I also tried on Mac OS Sequoia 15.6.1 and Subsurface 6.0.5405 but it cannot the detect the computer.

I am using 6.0.5404 and when I go to the website that is the latest version available for MacOS.  How can I get the 5414 version?

I got 6.0.5414 from the App Store a week or so ago, but was using the one from TestFlight before that.

I had the same issue with a peregrine tx on android with version 6.0.5414, I am now using version 6.0.5430 (nightly) and it works. Unfortunately not helpful if you're on iOS, but at least a fix is coming when the release happens.

Thanks.  I was talking MacBook Pro.  I do have the 6.0.5414 on my iPhone 16 Pro.  Neither will download my dives since the Peregrine TX firmware update.  Wish I had not updated.
