support for Azoth Systems ODYSSEY computer

Hi there,

 

This is a quite new dive computer which is available on the market : https://o-dive.com/odyssey/

 

Right now, it is possible to download dive data from compatible software, and to export UDDF format files.

 

Is there any chance it will be directly supported by SubSurface in a near or far future ?

Dive computer manufacturers come and go, Look at the Uemis SDA and the Deepblu Cosmiq for examples of some fairly short lived ones. There IS a chance that this could be directly supported by Subsurface if someone adds that functionality but the question is who should do this. The manufacturers of the computer could add this functionality themselves (the Subsurface code is open after all) or maybe one of the Subsurface developers may be interested in adding this because of their own desire.

Is there any documentation about interfacing this computer and whether it's based on any other pre-existing hardware that may already be supported?
