Can submariner gateway engine use existing tunnel between two clusters

Hi Team

I have a use case where i already have a wireguard tunnel between two kubernetes clusters between two of its worker nodes. Is there a way i can tell submariner gateway engine to not establish its own tunnel but use whatever is already present between the two worker nodes.

Hello Vinod,

We talked about some sort of "test/manual cable driver" along these lines. The goal was to make developing new production cable drivers easier, but as there hasn't been user demand for other drivers it hasn't been a priority.

Hi Vinod,

There's no way to currently do that but I imagine it's doable. There's currently no submariner devs working on the wireguard driver (it was originally contributed by someone who has since left the project) but we welcome contributions to add that functionality.
