Dear Chibeze,

Thank you for welcoming so positively the discussion on SYND's participation in the above event, and for sharing your profile. This event is co-convened by the United Nations Institute for Natural Resources in Africa (UNU-INRA), the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and the African Academy of Science (AAS), in collaboration with the University of Ghana, to examine the 2018 IPCC 1.5 report (arguably the most important climate report in history) and what it means for Africa.

The two-day event will be held 25th to 26th July 2019 at the School of Law, University of Ghana (25th July) and Noguchi Memorial Institute Conference Room, University of Ghana (26th July).

SYND is specially invited to attend the Workshop for Students and the Official Opening  happening 09.00am to 10.30am and 11.30am to 12.30pm respectively, on 25th July.

As stated in the letter, you are welcome to attend other sessions of interest. Please, find details in the attached draft programme.

We look forward to hearing from you and for discussing your group's participation in this important event.

We thank you and look forward to welcoming you and your team.

Kind regards,

Vicentia
