Hello!
Does anyone have a summary/file of states that have a 365-angling license?
Thank you,
PS. I (just now) created this from the October 2025 listserv ask, for those that responded to 365-licenses states that Shawn from Vermont started.
(Those noted in red had further comments in their response, than just yes/no to 365 and auto renewal.
Thanks!
Sorry to be late on this, but I’m confirming that CT does not have a 365 auto-renewal option. We are still issuing licenses for the calendar year.

Jenifer:
Thanks so much for pulling together that tally of responses to the same question I posed back in the fall.
I too made a summary spreadsheet back then, and could have sworn I circulated it back out to the listserv at the time, but it’s looking like I didn’t! Sorry to all if I did NOT do that 😲
So, my summary is now attached here as well for reference. It has a few more details in it, including any interesting notes or comments, the respondent might have mentioned in their email.
One update from Vermont – we have now begun the process to build this into our license system as an option for fishing licenses only. Not sure when it will be live, but most likely 2028, certainly not before.
