Errors

We have the links to the USGenWeb logo on our TNGenWeb sites as 

https://www.usgenweb.org/images/logos/USGenWebLogo.gif

But, that is dead.

When I tried to go to USGenWeb today, I got this error.

Is this a transient problem?

The result on the page can be seen at all our TNGenWeb WordPress sites -- this is a recent problem, because the logo used to display.

It comes right up for me with no error. No idea why you get an error. What browser, and are you on a vpn?

I see it also on Chrome, Firefox and Edge, no VPN but Malwarebytes is flagging it.

I would at first suggest using a different browser and see if your link works correctly. I had this happen to me when using Firefox. It's an issue with your browser expecting an https instead of an http or vice versa. If another browser works, you can take some steps in Firefox to fix the situation. Try this second:

Type about:config in your address bar

Search for security.tls.version.max

Change the value from 4 to 3

Restart Firefox

Then try your link again. 

If that's not the issue then there are a couple of other things you can try (be sure to change the value back to 4 in security.tls.version.max)

I have had our hosting support on chat for a while.  It is apparently MalwareBytes because I have extremely tight settings.  It apparently was an update a day or two ago.
