so now everything is connected (a bit of a mess still), but nothing is moving

raspberry says:
pi@raspberrypi:~ $ sudo systemctl status robot
● robot.service - Robot control service
Loaded: loaded (/etc/systemd/system/robot.service; enabled; vendor preset: enabled)
Active: active (running) since Sun 2022-12-11 17:48:26 GMT; 7min ago
 Main PID: 564 (python3)
    Tasks: 3 (limit: 4915)
   CGroup: /system.slice/robot.service
           └─564 /usr/bin/python3 /home/pi/StanfordQuadruped/run_djipupper.py

Dec 11 17:48:26 raspberrypi systemd[1]: Started Robot control service.

It does not go through the calbration sequence and it does not move.

Any ideas what to try?

Thanks,

Felix

Hm so the Teensy is responsible for the calibration procedure and that should run regardless of what the raspberrypi is doing. Can you write what firmware you loaded onto the Teensy? Maybe also verify that the ESCs have the right IDs?

I got it to work, very exciting https://www.youtube.com/shorts/We353IudTeA

My PCB was probably defective.
