When a new verison of a book is released, how important is it to you that you update your book with the latest version? What is the process you normally go through to do this?

To those of you who are not aware, my company Qurika is building an ebook store to go with it's ebook reader and SE books are going to be the first corpus available on it. I want to make dealing with version updates on books as seamless as possible and I'm trying to figure out how important it is to you and how you handle that currently.

It's not very important to me unless I'm told of some major issue. Minor fixes of typos aren't a compelling reason to seek an update. And in any case, I think I would go looking for an update only immediately prior to commencing to read a book.

Ok, thanks! That's in line with what I was expecting.

Currently, I have it so that the "book details" page in the users library links to an "order" page, that displays if a new version is available, and gives you the option to update the book. Ideally, I would have the ability to update the book directly in the "book details" page, but for now I think this should suffice.

If you have any ideas or feature requests for an ebook store, I'm would love to hear your thoughts! Things that annoy you about the Kindle store and would like to see done differently, etc.
