Does anyone have working flussonic server as dvr with stalker
I have flussonic record all good, can see file on flussonic server - setting made in stalker admin,
error on tv : file not found
can any one give example for all settings needed

Frankly speaking, it would be good to add documentation for configuring stalker for using with flussonic.

Ok, how could I launch it:

1) install flussonic, configure it. It is available on http://192.168.0.80:8080

2) channel is moya_planeta

3) create store in stalker:

name: store1

ip: 192.168.0.80:8080

apache — doesn't matter

max online: 10000 

record tv - check

   flussonic server - check

4) create iptv channel

number: 1

name: moya_planeta

links: http://192.168.0.80:8080/moya_planeta/mono.m3u8

enable TV archive: check

   flussonic DVR: check

   store1: check

xmltvid: 400001

Now fetch EPG and play recorded video in middleware stalker.

You must uncheck "dvr replicate", Flussonic will not replicate dvr from wowza.

What problems do you have? What version of stalker? Have you tried master from github?

Unchecked "dvr replicate" - file missing error

Do i need to add the home path in stalker admin ie, /content ??? so stalker know where the files are ??
Do i need a symlink to the /content directory in flusonic ??
As said before - the files are recording in flussonic but it seems stalker cannot find them

any advice

I don't know what shows you "file missing error", but you do not need dvr_replicate.

Stalker doesn't need to see flussonic archive, only your STB needs to have access to flussonic.

Seems that there is some misconfiguration in Stalker, but I don't know details.

if you have global authorization set in Flussonic config for live channels using above link  you will get probably the file missing in trying to watch flussonic archive thru stalker

After few days of testing Flussonic DVR in stalker it seems that tv_archive_continued = true is not working properly, giving "Missing file" error when another program from epg list tries to load automatically. Channel name in users list in stalker admin is not correctly displayed (I see url instead of channel name for TV Archive positions). Fast Forward and Rewind options are very slow, have to wait at least 30-60 seconds for the FF to take action and start playing video.

How would I get fast forward and rewind working? I can play recorded content from epg so that is working fine but when i rewind it says file missing....

Ok, so seems that authorization doesn't work with DVR?

I think it will be possible to fix it, at least skip authorization for DVR requests.

About fast forward: stalker gives such link to DVR, that looks like HLS file. I don't know how fast forward is implemented in MAG.

Dan, maybe you use timeshift? I think it's not working yet.

Max, yes, this is Stalker problem. VOD HLS from Flussonic works ok when fast forwarding, but not DVR. Maybe Stalker team will help with that?

Does VOD auth now work with Flussonic/Stalker? Last time I checked, it wasn't and I have asked Alexey to put it on the list.

Does anyone have problem at archive where instead of starting of the archive program, live channel starts playing and info bar shows duration 00:00:00/00:00:00 with the name of archive program that not started? This happened to me few times after trying HLS DVR.

All worked as described in your post
I was using the channel number instead of the stream name - channel number would be better as some channel names have spaces in which are not recognized by flussonic in stream name field ( no spaces allowed )

Can you help a little with setup? is it needed to configure the storage as it described in the stalker wiki? 

Is it needed to make any setup on flussonic? 

with my setup i get "server error" on my mag.

Hi
Log into flussonic and create channel ( Media / streams )
Set dvr options to where storage is ( DVR folder  )
Set dvr options to DVR autostart ( tick in box )
st dvr options DVR depth in time ( 7d = 7 days )
Then save

Go into stalker admin > storages
Name = storage name
IP = flussonic ip addressand port ( example - 192.168.1.1:8080 )
Apache port = 88
Max online = 1000
Record TV = yes
Flussonic server = yes

save

Go into stalker admin > edit channel
URL for recording (multicast) = http:FLUSSONICIP:PORT/CHANNEL NAME IN FLUSSONIC YOU CREATE/mono.m3u8
Enable TV archive = yes
Flussonic DVR = yes
Storage Name = yes

i have add streams and create a storage for flussonic, and configured stalker.. it looks like i have videos, but when i click on the archive i get a black picture.. looks like it's recording black picture.. but when i use the link http:FLUSSONICIP:PORT/CHANNEL NAME IN FLUSSONIC YOU CREATE/mono.m3u8   i got the video.. 

What i am doing wrong?

You need to enable DVR in Flussonic to make it work.

Of course, Flussonic cannot record "black picture", there is no such functionality. If you see black picture, it may mean that you have some problems either with configuring authorisation, either with something else.

Fast Forward and Rewind function don't seem to work at all in Stalker v 4.9.15 and Flussonic 4.4.8

Hi Max,

Did all the setting as mentioned above, however I'm getting the file missing error. I'm not using the token system for me links in flussonic, but when I was try via VLC just copying the link its playing fine.

Please let me know why this is giving file missing when I try to play via stalker epg

Thanks Max for resolved the issue, actually its a stalker issue not flussonic. 

Please see the attached picture, dont have to put http:// in front of the server ip address.  highlighted in yellow needs to be change to 127.0.0.1 ( not the http://)

Infomir dont care, they just want to sell their boxes nothing else....I wish if they have a real competitors with the own middleware....AVOV is on the way , once it hit the market Infamor can more care about their clients......or may be Flussonice should introduce a STB with their own middleware, since they got a good streaming solution.

Informir always updating there middleware and provide there middleware for free and provide updates for free so your ignorance is pathetic.

Bugs happen sometimes they are quick to fix sometimes not.. just wait like everyone else is. If not go else where your not tied to stalker middleware you are welcome to try other software.

If still your not happy maybe create your own middleware.
