Not necessarily. Storage may be located on the same server as the portal.

Change storage ip from localhost to your server ip (in stalker admin interface > Storages)

Then i don't understand how you get "couldn't connect to host" error.

Try to open this url on the server, e.g.

curl http://localhost/stalker_portal/storage/rest.php?q=vclub/testmp4

This may be a problem with file permission. Try to set a+w permission for test.mp4

chmod a+w /media/raid0/storage/testmp4/test.mp4

Also check that directory /media/raid0/mac/00:1A:79:10:FA:7E exist and has write permissions.

Try to make symlink from www-data users (or not root user)

ln -s /media/raid0/storage/video/video.mp4 /media/raid0/mac/00:1A:79:1A:2A:D2/6.mp4

I installed ministra 5.5.0 on Ubuntu 16. I need to have TV series section separate from videoclub. I want to have TV, VIDEOCLUB, TV SERIES. Can anyone help me with this? Thank you

I don't think , you can install TV-series section separately. One option you can try create add module under subscription in custom.ini all_modules[] = TVSERIES then make another id in service pack same as video club dont select full pack you will see 2 video club after stb reboot use one for video & another for series

Yes, They might rename 2nd video club. You have to create pack under Tariff same like video club but give name tv series instead vclub.  

How's your billing setup I mean reseller panel?

Doesn't matter you setup for yourself or family friends, option you want to setup need billing. In custom.ini file add billing True, then search how to enable internal billing on infomir wiki forum, it's free panel from infomir you can manage approximately 2000 without any issue. Above tariff there is service package. Create I'd for TVSERIES but alot of work need to be done. You just build stalker which is not enough for options you want to enable. I guess hard to explain. Search on Google those all things I wrote. Good luck

I found and enabled billing and internal billing as well. I can define expire date. This is not my problem. I also made a service package, I named it TVSERIES but at stalker portal is not showing.

You have to enable module  under subscription  in custom.ini file. Both video club & tv series then set up service pack. & atleast one tariff for all pack

In custom.ini is enabled. In service pack there is no other package except that one I made. I don't understand what do you mean by 'same as video club'. There is no video club package in service packages. I made the first one, I named it TVSERIES and an category I chose vclub.
