The fog of military service ....

Systems Thinking Ontario has been trying to get Professor Martin Bunch from York University as a speaker for a long time.  In addition to his academic role, he's just returned from Lebanon, where he has served as a Captain with the Queen's Own Rifles of Canada, on assignment as a Primary Reserve logistics officer supporting Mobile Training Teams.

Martin will be speaking on "Interconnected Interventions and Systemic Resilience: A Comparative Analysis of Development Programming in South Sudan".  There's a research paper and more links at https://wiki.st-on.org/2025-08-14

If you're serious about applying systems thinking in the field, this is an opportunity to learn from Martin's experience.

For those who are interested in chatting about recent systems conferences ... we'll adjourn a few minutes earlier, so you can continue offline conversations over dinner.
