Lift Modernisation Proposal- Johnson Lifts

Dear All,

As discussed in our last meeting, we need to decide on modernising our existing lift or replace with a new one since Johnson Lifts have expressed their inability to continue the AMC contract under platinum mode( full parts replacement in case of failure) considering the age criteria.

Attached the two quotes received.

Request you all to go through & give your feedback for taking up the same with Johnsons Lifts

Thankyou for sharing these details Mr. Jayachandran. Just wanted to know if our current lift has its valid licence to operate ? 

Requesting association Leads to confirm if adequate funds are available in the society account to bear this spend or would this need additional fund ? 

Hope all 12 owners have paid the annual CAM charges. 

Suggest all owners confirm on the preferred scheme to take this further up!

Hi

Our Lift licence expired on Aug 21 and we have applied for renewing the same for next 3 years. Will take the status from consultant Gee Yen Electricals by next week and will keep you posted

Our immediate priority is to renew the Lift AMC with Johnson

Gold contract ( Labour services) parts anything to be replaced will be  on chargeable basis. This contract can be continued till we finalise on Modernisation or replacement of lift

Final agreed price for Gold contract is Rs.29,500/- 

We need to give our concurrence so that Johnson will submit the revised agreement & in turn we can issue the cheque.

Thankyou for the prompt update Mr. Jayachandran. 

Pls help in coordinating this 3year license issued for our lift operations to stay in compliance. 

Sharing my concurrence towards having the Lift AMC renewal done with this Gold contract, in the case lift modernisation cannot be taken up for now.

 Requesting other owners to also share your views in this regard so that Association Leads can process towards the same.

Adding Arun (flat 3) who is taking care of the association now. 

Thank you Mr. Jayachandran for following up and coordinating with Jhonson.

Considering the age of the lift and the unavailability of spare parts, I would recommend for modernisation. Let's hear from other owners too.

We need to issue a cheque for Rs.29,500 under Gold contract ( Labour services only) in favour of Johnsons Lifts Private Limited.

Original 2 sets are available with me. Authorised signatories needs to sign & return the same along with cheque

Attached the copy of contract.
