Is there a way to use Notepad++ as the text editor inside Spyder?

I love Notepad++ powerful text editing capabilities, but Spyder's debugging, integrated runtime tools, and many other awesome functions make Spyder a much better tool for pure Python programming than a raw (albeit super-powered) text editor.

I used Notepad++ before using Spyder. Notepad++ is very convenient and have a lot of tools but when I've founded Spyder and discovered its possibilities, I replaced Notepad++. But I uses it again to write comments (it have a spell checker), to compare 2 files...
