Spyder-Notebook version conflict

Hi everybody,

I'm currently trying to install spyder-notebook to be able to work with Jupyter Notebooks on Spyder but whenever I do that using pip or conda, spyder-kernels get downgraded to version 2.3.3. When I then restart Spyder, it tells me to update spyder-kernels to 2.4 or newer to be able to create a console. Regardless of which version of spyder-kernels I have installed, I don't seem to be able to access the Notebook pane to work with jupyter notebooks. Does anybody have an idea how I could solve this?
