[ANN] Spyder 4.2.1 is released!

Hi all,
On the behalf of the Spyder Project Contributors, I’m pleased to announce that Spyder 4.2.1 has been released and is available for Windows, GNU/Linux and MacOS X: https://github.com/spyder-ide/spyder/releases
This release comes six weeks after version 4.2.0 and it contains the following new features and important fixes:
New features
- Code folding for cells.
Important fixes
- Search works as expected for folded regions.
- IPython Console preferences are applied on the fly.
- IPython files (
*.ipy) are better support in the Editor. - Reduce time to show Preferences dialog.
- Support for macOS Big Sur.
In this release we fixed 36 issues and merged 62 pull requests that amount
to more than 277 commits. For a full list of fixes, please see our Changelog.
