New! Best resources to learn and Question about Variable Explorer?

Hi, I'm new to Spyder and Pandas. Spyder is an awesome tool! Are there any good resources for learning about the tool and the Variable Explorer, specifically? I have looked the official docs. While good, I couldn't find what I needed. How much editing can the variable explorer do? Can it find and replace all values in a group of selected unique values, if one value is edited in that group? I saw in the documentation that pandas dataframes are supported, but I'm not sure if groups or series are. I have already changed my Run configuration to no avail.
