v5.01 and breakpoints dont show in margins

i can press F12 and within the 'Breakpoints' pane i can see the BP, but nothing in the margin. i can press F12 and it clears and reappears in BP pane but not in margin. 

 i dont remember needing to set it up in other versions thru settings. so someone let me know. thanks

I don't think that this is intended behaviour. It looks like a bug. In that case it would be great if you filed a Issue report at the spyder repository on github.
