Hello everyone,

I have calibrated my model using SWAT+ toolbox with NSE value of 0.80 but when I put the same values in my SWAT+ Editor, it gives me a NSE value of 0.71, what could be the cause of this please? I have checked that the methods are the same as those selected in the SWAT+ toolbox.

Hello everybody, I managed to fix this issue. I changed the i-fpwet method to new sediment budgets and simplified nutrient transport and that solved the issue. Now I noticed that with this method, the model does not produced any results for nh3 and no2, does anybody know how to fix this issue or what parameters to calibrate to make my model produce values for nh3 and no2.

Did you finally figure this out?

If not, it would be a good idea to post the nitrogen issue here: https://groups.google.com/g/swatplus

SWAT+ Toolbox modifies parameter values dynamically during its calibration run (often reading from temporary files or a specific reference state). If the baseline values in your SQLite database (project.sqlite) in SWAT+ Editor are slightly different from the initial values SWAT+ Toolbox started with, applying the same relative or percentage change will yield different final values.

Please, compare the final absolute values of your calibrated parameters directly in the calibration.cal file (generated by SWAT+ Toolbox) against the actual values updated in SWAT+ Editor.

Kindly Regards!
