As there are only 3 people who are currently associating their NAR
section with SPARC, I plan to let our section expire.
It was a fun run.
My records go back to 2001.
I think the club was a couple years old then?
We managed to top out right at 100 members with the most recent in
April of 2021.

I agree it is time to allow the section to expire and that it was a good run. It is my understanding that the section can be renewed in the future if someone finds a site and wants to use the name and number.

Does this mean you folks will no longer be holding launches as a club? I flew at a few SPARC launches (at Deer Park, I believe) quite a few years ago when I was home visiting my parents in Superior, MT. I enjoyed the group and the launches and would be sorry to see the group fold completely.
All the best,
Mark Roberts

They (NAR) have come up with a new 'improved' website.
All old data was not transferred so everyone now needs to log into
their NAR account and update their data.
From what I can decipher, not many folks are doing that.

To the group:
Thank you for keeping SPARC going all these years. While Heidi and I didn't build and fly, we always had a wonderful time with you all at the Wild Rose launches, and especially at the extravaganzas in Mansfield. The group was always welcoming, and we always had (for lack of a better word) a blast. I hope this email group stays active to pass along info about various launches within driving distance.
