New to the area, looking to get L1

Hi SPARC! Does the club have an active launch site for L1 certifications? We are in Coeur d'Alene and would like to build and launch rockets in order to get our L1.

Yes….and no.

We have lost our local launch site.

The good news is that Tri Cities has a very nice launch site north of Pasco.

It’s easy access off 395, has a 9K’ waiver, and it’s on a sod farm which makes for barefoot recovery option.

And, if you’re in a rush, they have a launch scheduled for this Saturday.
