Prevent glossary entries to be included in the index

Hi there,

I can not find in the docs any information about the problem mentioned in
the subject.

When building a glossary and an index, every entry in the glossary becomes
also an entry in the index, which is quite redundant and somehow an
unwanted behaviour. Indeed, my reference English style manual advises
against putting glossary entries in the index.

Is there a way to prevent this behaviour? I did not find any related
option in the docs, neither for index::, nor for glossary::

Has someone any pointer or ideas?
