Cannot build because of Extension error

Hello,

I recently upgraded my operating system. I had Trisquel 8 (based on Ubuntu 16.04) and now I have Trisquel 9 (based on Ubuntu 18.04). After the upgrade I cannot build my Sphinx project. When I do make html I get the following error:

Running Sphinx v1.8.5
loading translations [es]... done

Extension error:
Could not import extension sphinx.builders.linkcheck (exception: No module named requests.exceptions)
Makefile:19: recipe for target 'html' failed
make: *** [html] Error 2

How could I fix it?

Hi,

The error says "requests" library not found. Please check and install it.

What exactly do I have to install and how?

I tried several things, but did not succeed.

Please take into account that I am not a developer...
