Hello everyone,

I'm sorry for off-topic, but let me announce to this forum I've just finished my web app called Snippets at https://snippets.documatt.com - an online reStructuredText and Sphinx editor with syntax highlight, preview and (soon) sharing and embedding. Unlike others, it is based on Sphinx, not Docutils only, and allows try full-fledge Sphinx without installing it.

Hello,

Is the code used to run the website open source, and available someplace like GitHub? I want to create a command line tool that generates good looking HTML from an RST (better than what docutils does through rst2html), using the Sphinx module. Sphinx's documentation is ironically kind of crappy, so I haven't tried to bedrock-dig to get it working.

If you have done this work, and feel comfortable sharing some code hints and breadcrumbs, that would be excellent!

Hi Tanim,

I'm planning open-sourcing it soon (in a month)! Actually, I also want to add the CLI interface in addition of already existing REST API. I'm sure I can help you too. Drop me a line do my private email.

However, if you want primary "good looking" HTML, it should be "only" a matter of CSS styling, right?
