Hi Jeff,
I've not got a red pitaya so in honesty I'm not sure what features work. Which HPSDR radio type does the red pitya report as ?  If it reports as an Orion board you may be able to use the adc tab to switch inputs.  Are the different inputs on different adcs or is there some other sort of switch?

Hi Jeff
Short answer : Yes
But it could be useful for you to read the "red pitaya notes" written by Pavel Denim and have a look at the different versions of the Alexiares frontend
As a picture is worth thousand words

in other words, you have the very same possibilities you get when buying a Apache box (or more) . You'll be able to select between 3 main antennas input and far more switching in the RX path (for Predistorsion, full dup transverters, specific filters and so on)

yes easy, but this not a feature of sparksdr , it is a feature of the software running on the redpitaya.

All you have to do is to modify the startt.sh file

copy pasted below for your convenience

Configuring inputs and outputs

The sdr-transceiver-hpsdr program running on the STEMlab SDR board expects five command line arguments:

sdr-transceiver-hpsdr 1 2 2 1 2

The first three arguments are for the receivers (RX1, RX2, RX3), where 1 corresponds to IN1 and 2 corresponds to IN2.

The last two arguments are for the outputs (OUT1, OUT2), where 1 corresponds to the TX signal and 2 corresponds to the envelope signal.

For example, to send the TX signal to OUT2, the corresponding line in start.sh should be edited and the last argument should be set to 1:

sdr-transceiver-hpsdr 1 2 2 1 1

Hi All,
there is still something odd going on with google groups so sorry if messages have been deleted, I think I get them all emailed to me so have read them. I shall look into supporting the Alex antenna and filter stuff. I've not done this up until now as I have no hardware to test with, this is also why tx is only enabled on the HL2. I shall see if I can borrow an Anan and finally finish that bit off.  The Spark filter selection is quite sophisticated in that it can choose an optimal set of filters for multiple receivers and bands at once, this requires a config file to be created for the filter hardware, there are examples in the /configs/filters directory. It basically is a table of every possible combination of bands and the required output value. I shall see if that can be made to work with the Alex stuff.
