My laptop has been getting screwier and more. I was wondering if anyone has experience with buying a refurbished laptop from OSUsed?

I get most of my laptops from OSUsed. It often works out quite well, but it's not unusual for them to have various quirks that I don't discover until I bring them home, and there are no returns. Sometimes those quirks are no big deal. Other times the time and cost to fix them more than cancels out the lower cost vs buying new. I'll probably keep using it as my main source of laptops, but I do reconsider each time I get an especially tricky one.

I bought one once from OSUsed... One thing I appreciated at that time is that I was able to call the tech guy who was a bit of an expert and get some help getting it up and running.

If it's a Mac you're looking for I like going to Other World Computing. They've got a 2 year guarantee, though certainly a bit more spendy that OSUsed.

You can also consider Back Market, which sells refurbished laptops and other tech products with a warrantee.  I’ve used them 3 times for Mac’s and iPhones and can vouch for their quality, delivery and service.
