Hi to all.

I am in Spanish SS group since 6.1.4. (ssTime)

Unfortunatelly i am not a programer and this should be better.

But work at least.

Can someone bring into SS library?

with this ArduinoSlave an ESP have control over arduino pin configuratión and can use all arduino pin features.

too exchange variables and have free space for use libraries without ESP support

God save 328P!!!!   and their 5 volts!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(sorry but without google i do not speak english)

Hi Jose,

actually you can use the ESP8266 as a WiFi to USART bridge for your Atmega, having Souliss running on both the nodes and executing the logics on the Atmega.

Check these two example, where the ESP8266 is empty and just does the bridge

Regards,
Dario.

Recently souliss footprint is larger, in the past, 328p could accommodate seven slots (float), but not now.

- Besides SS, my nodes must have more code
- Arduino not need so many electronic components
- Arduino mini pro costing 1.1 €
- Arduino is more compatible with sensors
- 328P has 8 analog reads 0-5V but I can not use them in SS
- 328P has 11 gave 5v but can not use them in SS
- ESP-01 has Wifi
- ESP-01 has space for code
- ESP-01 has speed
- ESP-01 costs 1.65€

=

Great node for 3 €

esp is too good to use as a bridge only

You have 24 slots, this is generally more than I/O pins on the 328.

Hi Dario!, I talked about this examples with Jose Manuel before, and we are agree that Souliss with USART support can handle an Arduino with 24 slots, but most of the flash and memory will be used by Souliss.
Example: Juan Manuel have's a big irrigation system with an LCD, pushbuttons and more code, with the ArduinoSlave he can handle communications easily between ESP and Arduino with lesser footprint on the code, is a different way to control the Arduino and I think this can be usefull too.

Great job Juan Manuel and ty for sharing :P

I'm sorry, I've missed that Jose were proposing a solution. But I didn't see any link to the code.

Dario.

OK.
Dario, it seems that google translator does not do all the work alone. At least we have Juan Pinto's challenge.
I am very happy of SS growth, and his footprint is bigger why SS can do more things.
I never try to add 24 slot to a node, why? it is a whole house...

I only  try that my nodes do their job although they are alone, when ss network  falls.
But when i upload to newer version of SS i lost  slots in my nodes with the same hardware...

I try to remedy this.

Sorry for not having explained better.

Regards
