Participation Code Upload

Hi All,

I am trying to overwrite the participation codes but can't find the correct syntax for it. I know they can be changed one by one, but I am hoping there is a simple way to do it via the csv upload. I've tried several combinations, but it doesn't like the space in "Participation Code" and other iterations just generate new variables. Does anyone know how to do this?

Hi Collin,

there is no CSV upload feature in SoPHIE to overwrite participant codes. Also the codes are supposed to be alphanumeric meaning dashes are not allowed. If you want to map codes you would have to use an external system or modify SoPHIE to allow exactly what you are trying to achieve.

There is a new participant management platform that might be useful to you. We wrote it for classroom management and it allows students to login to the platform and to further login to SoPHIE sessions from within that platform. Depending on your use-case that might be even more flexible than overwriting codes every time. If you are interested please just write me an email.
