VL53L0X ToF distance meter.

Hello all 

Ive setup Tasmota (Wemos D1 mini) build sensors to measure illuminance (BHT1750) and distance on VL53L0X. It works well but results are published on console in every  2 seconds period. 

Is there way to increase distance measure frequency to let say every 0.5 second?

What i need is to power on relay for 60 seconds when distance is < 90 cm but distance should be measured in every half second or less. 

Light sesnor is only for enabling distance meter. 

Is it possible?

There’s nothing on this page so the simple answer is no.

 

VL53L0X and VL53L1X laser ranging modules - Tasmota

 

Someone may have modified the driver but otherwise you’ll have to modify it yourself.
