Greetings,

I just got tue following Esp/wifi power strip on Amazon.

Smart Plug, Power Strip Work with Alexa or Google Home, ANHAORUI WiFi Surge Protector with 6 Smart Outlets and 6 Always on outlets and 4 USB Ports, 6 Feet Extension Cord, Black/Grey, ETL Listed https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08J9YDHQT/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_D5KBYQWGJYWTYQQ3RP9M

Would love to integrate it into my MQQT environment. Any idea, if it will work with Tasmota? Any tips/hints? Don't want to flash it, if it's going to die on me after that.

Cheers.

Thanks

Saludos, Regards,

The place to look is here.

Plugs and Sockets (blakadder.com)

Some TuYa based devices are now no longer using ESP8266 so it’s becoming a lottery.

Greetings;

So, I just got the ANHAORUI 6 Position Wifi Controlled Power Strip. I tcontrols 6 relays independently.

It has a TYWE3S, ESP 8266 based Wifi Unit in it. It flashed with Tasmota no problem!

Now comes the hard part. I traced the GPIO pin out to the various Relays(Q1-Q6, starting from Power switch):

GPIO-5   ---> Q5
GPIO-4   ---> Q6
GPIO-15 ---> Q4
GPIO-14 ---> Q3
GPIO-12 ---> Q2
GPIO-13 ---> Q1

I flashed the unit with the GENERIC Configuration...

The unit shows up on my router with an IP address.

Now, can someone guide me to the next steps, please?

- Which module type do I use (if not generic)?
- I tried to assign switch_n to the different GPIOs from the web-interface, but nothing happens, or I don't know what is supposed to happen. I was kind of expecting a series of 6 switches to pop up on the main interface... nada.

Cheers;

Follow-up to the mail I just sent:

I was using "switch" instead of "relay" to define the GPIOs. Now I do see individual switches on the main menu and can toggle them. Awesome.

Remaining issue, prior to closing up the power strip: The control button, which turns all outlets on/off is connected to RXD0 (pulls it down to ground, when pushed). In Module COnfiguration I can toggle any one of the relays, but I would like to be able to toggle ALL of them. CAn't seem to figure that one out.

Lastly, I'd love to publish the Template, but I'm stuck at how to configure the JSON template...

Cheers;
