Hello Team,

We recently upgraded to SonarQube 6.4, and for the most part it looks great. Excellent Work

We are facing a strange issue after up gradation the project page is coming empty and not listing any projects , where as i am able to search project and see their details, I have checked the permission and they are set up correctly and I am logging as Administrator part of sonar admin groups.

Is i am doing something wrong ? Any pointers would help.

TIA
Rahul

On further analysis it seems that users screen is not showing all the users that were part of sonar version before update where as data is present in the user table when i check in MYSql DB.

Is anybody else face this issue , as it is strange. Please help

Same issue here.

I upgrated from an old version (
3.6.1) to 6.4 :

3.6.1 -> 4.5.7 LTS -> 5.6 LTS -> 6.4

Projects are visible in Administration Tab (
http://localhost:9000/projects_admin) but not on the Home Page.

Hi Rahul,

This may seem like a dumb question, but you did point the new instance at the old database, right?

Also, from what version are you upgrading?

And finally, can you
* stop your server
* delete $SONARQUBE_HOME/data/es
* restart
?

It's possible the missing users problem will be solved by that.

Hi Frederic,

It's possible that you're suffering from SONAR-9375. Can you analyze one of the projects and see if it shows up afterward?

Yes you are right.

Newly analyzed projects shows up but old ones are in infinite border enlightening.

Thank you for your responsivness.

Hi Rahul,

Please remember to include the Google Group in your replies. I've added it back in.

AFAIK, there isn't a sanctioned workaround for this, and I cannot advise you to update the database directly since it should be treated as a black box.

Hi Ann,

Is there any work around for this as i have around 114 projects and it will take months to get the projects visible on the project page.

Can i update the reliability_rating to some default value in MYSql Db, to make project appear on main page

Regards
Rahul

My Bad Ann, will take care of this next time.

Thanks for your help , the rebuilding on ES index solved my Project problem also, so no need of any workaround.

Once again thanks for your help. You and your team saved the day once again :)

Rahul

Hi,

I had the same issue after upgrade to 6.5 from 6.1.

Rebuild the ES index helped to resolve the issue.

Best,

Hi,

I am also experiencing this same issue post upgrade from version 6.7 to 6.7.3, no project are displayed under the project section however I can all the projects under Administration>projects>management section.

Can anyone tell what could be the possible cause of this?

Regads,
Amir

Hi Amir,

This is probably a dumb question, but did you try a browser refresh? If you check your browser's developer tools, do you see the data being called for & delivered? Any errors there? Any errors in the SonarQube logs ($SONARQUBE_HOME/logs)?
